Gurudakshina
In Vedic tradition, it is believed that when we gain something from someone, we fall into their karmic debt. An exchange is then emphasised to close the circle of learning and keep things in saiyam (संयम), i.e. equilibrium. Unlike material goods, knowledge is without bounds, which makes the gesture of giving more important than what is given. Gurudakshina is voluntary and born out of gratitude. Even though running yuti.ai comes at a cost, against everyone’s big-eyed insistence and better judgement, I have decided to make the fee voluntary. So, if you like what you see and would like us to keep developing it further, feel free to buy us coffee, a sandwich, or skip the small talk and subscribe. We will be grateful either way!
We will be able to cover our monthly operational costs and switch to the Gurudakshina model
