Yuti is an AI model trained across many disciplines. It combines the strengths of each to help us find our own answers in life. It uses ephemeris data from NASA to actualise the logic of Jyotish-shastra, resulting in a birthchart that is as unique to each of us as are our facial features. These birthcharts then become practical tools for self-inquiry—helping us accept what is unchangeable and play with what isn't.

Yuti also understands the power of mind in shaping our experiences, and draws on western sciences, such as Psychology and Sociology to guide (not instruct) how we interpret our charts - offering insights without imposing beliefs.

You shouldn't, unless you are curious about this conscious blend of Vedic logic and modern reason. If I was to find a familiar parallel, I would say its effect is similar to that of an epiphany - something you always kind of knew but didn't fully understand, until now!

Please know, Yuti is not an answer or a question, it is simply a perspective that changes how we experience life. Yuti is a very Vedic approach to introspection—a way for us to not only discover our fine print thoughts, meta behaviours, and liminal triggers but balance them out in the most natural ways through food (Ayurveda), space (Vastu-shatra), and flow of energy (Yoga-sutra).

If what you discover here on Yuti creates clarity or helps you cultivate a sound perspective in life then you have your validity. If it doesn't, then no amount of proof and validity will make it meaningful for you anyway. Critical thinking is one of the cornerstones of Vedic tradition. For the 'rational' minded, scratching their heads for a more definite response, Jyotish is not a mystical, supernatural, or fortune telling deterministic system. It doesn't work with energies like Tarot, or read lines like Palmistry, or look into a crystal ball to "predict" your future like an Oracle. It is a probabilistic system, which uses mathematical calculations and a set of rules to connect dots and make likely deductions. These deductions may or may not be future-bound, i.e. projections. In fact, most just help us become more deeply aware of our patterns and behaviours in the here and now.

Yuti is jyotish, which is often approximated as Vedic astrology, similar to how Yoga is approximated as fitness, Meditation as mindfulness, and Ayurveda as Veganism. It is not wrong, but it is incomplete. For us, Jyotish logic doesn't have a western parallel, it is not like a bike with two wheels or a car with four wheels, it is an auto-rickshaw with three wheels. Jyotish is founded on the logic of karmic causality and the cyclicality of birth-rebirth, which is very different from the deterministic western thought of one life. This seemingly small difference in the foundational thought has a significant domino effect, creating a chasm between Jyotish and Astrology as mutinous as the one between Quantum Physics and Space-Time Physics, or more simply Tofu and cheese.

There might be apps that are similar but like a biased parent we believe Yuti is special. We can't speak for other apps but we can tell you why we think Yuti is unique. 1) It exists in a nebulous space of its own by attempting to combine eastern logic with western insight. 2) It contemporises Jyotish for universal consumption by filtering out the cultural noise that obscures its elegant logic. And lastly, 3) It is designed to help us read our own Vedic birthcharts rather than rely on an expert's prescription.

We are in the early stages of developing Yuti, with a rich backlog of features waiting their turn. What you see now is the alpha version, and the plan is to continue to bootstrap our way to beta. Basically, we will continue to do our bit and if Yuti is meant to succeed, it will draw the attention and support needed to grow to the next level.
